About Shannon

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With three years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in English, History, and Special Education for students ranging from elementary school through the collegiate level. I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning over simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods to fit your specific needs. I keep sessions engaging by connecting complex topics to your personal interests and breaking challenges into manageable steps. Clear, consistent communication with you and your family ensures we remain aligned on your goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to partnering with you on your academic journey and celebrating your growth every step of the way.
