About Shannon

For 17 years, I have dedicated myself to nurturing children's growth and development. My graduate degree and Early Child Development coursework complement my experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I am a certified teacher, and my previous babysitting roles motivated me to continue supporting families by providing reliable care. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I always follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules and communicating about their child's day, whether through verbal updates or regular texts. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I am comfortable caring for multiple children at a time.
