About Shannon

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With three years of experience supporting elementary learners in Math, English, Science, and Special Education, I focus on creating an engaging, patient environment tailored to your child's needs. I assess individual learning styles through active observation, adapting my approach with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to ensure concepts click. When subjects become challenging, I bridge the gap by connecting material to personal interests and celebrating every small victory. I believe open communication with families is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Seeing a student's confidence soar as they master a difficult skill remains the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a graduate degree and am happy to meet at your home, a library, or online. I truly look forward to helping your student thrive and discover the joy of learning.
