About Shannon

Hi, I'm Shannon! I'm a mom of three awesome kids--now in high school and college--and as they've become more independent, I've found myself with extra time and a heart that still loves little ones. I've always enjoyed caring for kids (especially babies and toddlers!) and would be honored to support another family during these special years. I started babysitting at 13 and even cared for triplets all through college. I later became a teacher and high school counselor, and now work part-time as a nonprofit executive director for a national organization--giving me the flexibility to offer dependable, loving childcare. One of my kids has special needs, so I bring a calm, patient, and adaptable approach. I'm fun, flexible, and trustworthy--and I genuinely enjoy being a steady, joyful presence in a child's day. Also a proud dog mom to three furbabies! I love Christmas, Disneyland, river trips, UCLA football, BBQs, and road trips with loved ones. Thanks for reading--I'd love to connect!
