About Shannen

I have over 10 years of experience working with children and older teens ages 2-21, including individuals with special needs. I have a masters degree in psychology, and I am currently in a graduate program to receive my BCBA to work with children and adults on the autism spectrum. I also currently work at a nonprofit school for children with autism and other developmental disorders. I love to get creative with children or older teens that I work with! My current job gives me the ability to have ideas and materials that keep individuals entertained and learning. Whether that is outdoor play, indoor games and crafts, a technological hobby, or a vocational skill (such as cooking or cleaning); I have a wide variety of activities that can be done throughout the day.
