About Shanna

Hello, my name is Shanna. I've been in the healthcare industry for 10 years. I currently work at the VA, where I've gained valuable experience caring for veterans with spinal cord injuries, including bowel programs, rehabilitation, and the specialized support that comes with long-term recovery. I chose this field because I believe true care comes from the heart. I've always been a nurturing person, and with a family full of nurses and caregivers, compassion runs deep in my roots. What I love most about home health is the personal connection. Clients receive the attention they deserve, the patience they need to progress, and the kindness that reassures them they're never alone. Many of the people I've cared for have truly become like family to me, and that's something I hold close to my heart. I have my own reliable transportation and I'm currently looking for night shift and some daytime positions.
