About Shanna

Shanna is amazing! She cared for our daughter for 3 years, picking her up from school and welcoming our daughter into her home. Shanna is super reliable, attentive, intuitive and proactive, and it’s clear that caregiving comes naturally for her, not just as a job. She goes above and beyond to make sure children are safe, supported, and happy. Our daughter loved spending time with Shanna’s own children and the other kids in her care, and in that environment she learned so much about kindness and respect. As an only child, those moments were important in belonging to a “team”, learning from the older kids, and looking out for the younger ones, all under Shanna’s caring attention. Shanna has a calm firmness that provides structure and reassurance, yet she is also warm, loving and fun. We felt so grateful for the way she cared for our child, and for the way she supported us as parents too. She was always communicative, organized, and happily shared resources when we needed guidance. When we run into her around town, it's hugs and smiles all around! We’ve been so fortunate to have Shanna in our lives and would highly recommend her. Any family would be lucky to work with Shanna!
