About Shanna

Hi all! My name is Shanna and I would love to help you with the world's greatest job: raising your little one. I have 10 years of experience with nanny work. I've been babysitting since I was in high school and taking regular nanny jobs since I was in college, when I would work summers as a nanny. I have experience with all ages but primarily with toddler-preschool age. I support gentle parenting and believe in respect for children as individuals while maintaining firm boundaries as they learn and grow. I believe that nannies are meant to be teammates and that open communication with families is one of the most important parts of a nanny's job. Outside of work, I love to crochet, sing, and play games (both board and video games). I also love animals and spending time outside in nature. I have a deep love for learning and exploring and believe that adults could learn a lot from the way children approach the world. I would love to get to know you and your little one!
