About Shanna Kay

Nurturing children and watching them blossom has always been a passion. For the past three years, I've had the joy of caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. My graduate studies, coupled with early childhood development coursework and my certification as a teacher, have equipped me with the tools to create engaging and educational experiences. I am comfortable caring for up to two children. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I love playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I always follow a parent's lead when it comes to household rules and communication preferences. I am also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel. I am also a certified doula. Knowing I can positively impact a child's life and support families brings me immense satisfaction, and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with your family and learn how I can best support your children.
