About Shanna

I am an elementary school teacher and this is my 27th year in the classroom. I enjoy teaching all students and believe that everyone can learn!! Learning should be fun and engaging! Early childhood is my jam! I am a national board certified teacher. I have two master's degrees. One in elementary education and one in literacy with a focus on global studies. I also have my ESL certification (English as a Second Language). I love supporting students as they navigate our complex English language. I have had countless non-English speaking students in my class who are communicating using full sentences by the end of the year. I will support your child where they are on their learning journey! Together we will discover how they learn best. I will use these strategies to help them grow! :)
