About Shaniqua

My name is Shaniqua. I have been a Registered Nurse for 10+ years, but became a nurse because of my general care and concern for people. As a Registered Nurse, I have completed Early Child Development and Geriatric Care education and training. I have work and life experience in areas of: pediatrics, behavioral health, med surg, long term care, and home healthcare. I am especially gifted at nurturing young minds, and being a supportive listener or advisor. I offer attentive, one-on-one care. I hold current First Aid and CPR Training certifications. My approach is patient, creative, flexible, and friendly. I enjoy fun activities and laughter, board games, swimming, movies, music, baking and cooking, and educational activities. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and abiding by them. I provide regular updates through whatever form of communication works best for you. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, swimming supervision, and homework assistance if necessary.
