About Shanice

Shanice nannied for us over the summer of 2019 when our children were 13, 10 and 6 years old. We had interviewed several candidates and chose Shanice for her warmth, sensitivity and candidness. She quickly became a member of our family. My children looked forward to her arrival each day whether it was a day of berry picking, going for a walk, a lunch or movie outing or just relaxing at home swimming and playing video games. Shanice is an avid reader and she encouraged my children to spend time reading each day. One of the big deciding factors when we hired Shanice was her experience with helping children with anxiety. Our middle child was struggling with PANS, a neuropsychiatric autoimmune condition, that caused severe anxiety and behavioral issues. Shanice was able to connect with him and build trust to help him work through tough moments. We are grateful to Shanice for helping our family that summer and continue to be in touch—years later, she still checks in to see how the kids have grown!
