About Shania

I'm looking to transition from full-time work to part-time nannying while I complete college. For my first semester, I'd like to start part-time due to a heavier class schedule, but I hope to expand my hours as the school year progresses. I am CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified and have been caring for children since I was 13 through neighborhood daycare and after-school programs. I have both paid and volunteer experience because caring for children is something I truly love. I have experience with children of different ages, including those with autism, multiple children at once, pets, cooking, meal prep, completing errands, and helping with light household chores. I'm studying Interdisciplinary Studies and plan to become a school counselor for children and adults. I'm hoping to find a family where I can build a trusting relationship, provide a safe, nurturing environment, and support both the children and parents with dependable, compassionate care.
