About Shaniah

Hi! My name is Shaniah and I'm a 21-year-old full-time college student with a strong background in child care and a genuine love for working with children. I have hands-on experience from working at a licensed daycare called Mustard Seed, where I cared for children between the ages of 3 months and 6 years old. During my six months at the daycare, I was responsible for preparing meals, feeding infants and toddlers, changing diapers, assisting with potty training, and planning age-appropriate activities. I also helped take the children on fun and safe outings to places like parks and restaurants, always ensuring they were well cared for and engaged. In addition to my daycare experience, I've also babysat for friends and family over the years. I'm confident working with kids of all ages, and I take pride in being patient, nurturing, and attentive to each child's needs. I always aim to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children can grow, learn, and feel comfortable.
