About Shanelle

My name is Shanelle and I am a Ph. D. student at UConn with a previous Masters in Environmental Biology. My undergraduate degree focused on both Zoology and Family & Child Studies. I have been nannying for over 10 years now and I love it! I am comfortable working with all ages, and can bring many fun ideas for playtime. I love playing games and doing crafts, and I also can help tutor if needed. My focus in my Family & Child Studies minor was infant/youth development, so I always try to bring some developmental activities for all ages. I love animals, so pets will never be an issue for me. As most sitters do, I always help out with chores and meal prep, and I am very comfortable doing so. Additionally, I am already CPR, First Aid, and AED certified because I used to work at the Denver Zoo and I am also Wilderness First Aid certified as well. I am free to help with any needs since my schedule is flexible, but mostly focusing on families needing help on evenings/weekends!
