Warm greetings! I'm Shandra. I have over 20 years experience working in an educational/ nanny and senior assisted living setting. I like working in a diverse range of the population with adults (special needs) and children. My background has been striving to give back to the community. I take pride and dependable and ready to work.

Shandra was fantastic with my twin girls and my older boys as well. She know how to engage a child’s attention and and ensure each one feels seen and taken care of, which is a challenging balancing given the age difference. Would love to have her back again! The kids are always asking to see her. 

The first 2 days went fine, but then she cancelled 1 hour before the shift with a headache. Then, after calling me out for reposting the job posting to get a backup person (after having her cancel 1 hour before her scheduled time) she confirmed she was still planning on working for us. I even double checked last night and she confirmed the time for today. Then she no showed and didn’t respond to any of my messages. So, twice we had to scramble and cancel meetings at our jobs to make it work with our daughter. Would not recommend. 

Shandra watched my 3 kids (7, 4 and 2) while i recovered from a leg injury and she did an amazing job. She definitely has some mad classroom management skills, as managing my 3 active boys was no problem to her.  She calmly states boundaries to them and holds them accountable in a calm, kind yet confident manner. That's not a skill one finds often (many people i hired in the past had difficulties doing it), I am very glad to have found it in Shandra. 
Shandra is punctual, reliable and clear communicator. 
Also she takes charge, and if she sees there's a light housekeeping that needs to be done she will do it without being asked. Very helpful for a busy household!
I hired her multiple times and will again in the future. 

Shandra is very kind she came to watch my 6 week old overnight so I could rest . She did great with her can’t wait to have her agin ! 

Chatting with Shandra is easy because she is confident and personable.  Shandra approaches everything with patience and a sense of humor. Her easy laugh made my energetic 7 & 9 year old kids instantly warm up to her and they have enjoyed spending time with her. She allows their quirky little personalities to shine and lets them tell her all about their niche interests. Shandra takes the kids out to explore playgrounds or meet up with friends and I feel lucky knowing that they are safe and cared for by someone so kind. 

Shandra has been great with our 16 year old daughter. She is kind, funny and patient. She has great communication and is punctual. Shandra has made a not so ideal situation for for our family much easier. 

We had Shandra with us for a month, and she was fantastic with our son. Her experience and maturity really showed in how she cared for him, and she was always warm and personable. She made sure his chores were completed and even helped with household tasks, which was a huge plus. She was also a great communicator, always checking in to ensure we were happy with everything. Overall, we truly appreciated her time with our family.

We are so glad to have Shandra looking over our daughters while we both worked. She went above and beyond and helped us with some light housework! It's been a blessing to have her. I love that she is caring and stern when getting the girls to bed which is exactly what we needed. We definitely recommend her to any family!

Shandra is awesome! She took care of our little one and he loved her. We definitely would hire her again if she's available.

Shandra was wonderful with our 6 month old. She was a trusting, communicative employee. As a caretaker she was warm and caring with our baby. What impressed us most was when I'd come downstairs from my office, if the baby was sleeping she was keeping busy washing bottles and putting dishes in the sink. That was so appreciative and I value that proactiveness and thoughtfulness to leave the space cleaner than when she entered it.

Shandra is a ray of sunshine. A very positive, punctual,  dependable and respectful caregiver. She's smart and asks good questions to learn about her customers likes and dislikes. Very patient with special (and redundant) needs. and never flinched. Always willing to do anything to help out. I would rehire in a minute.
