I love caring for children and positively affecting their lives. I have over 20-years of child care experience and have taken care of children ages infant to 8-years old.

I am CPR and First Aid certified through September 2026.

The most recent family I worked with started out with their girl being 11-months old, and now she will soon be 20-months old (time flies). I also occasionally helped watch her older brother who will be 4 soon. I will miss all my past families greatly, especially all the children.

I am currently looking for a "Full Time" Nanny position that pays at least $1, 000 per week for 1 child or $1, 200 for 2 children... Monday - Friday for 40 to 45 hrs of work per week.
(I can also babysit some weekends for Date Nights, etc...)

We had Shanda for our daughter (and sometimes our older son) for just under a year - she was always very responsible and reliable and showed great care for our children. She paid close attention to their health and development, taking detailed notes about their days. She was always kind to us and them - she was always excited to see them in the morning and they were excited to see her. And she was never late in the morning and could often stay late in the afternoon when we requested it. We highly recommend Shanda!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Shanda care for our daughter. From day one, she exceeded all our expectations. She was always early, never once called in sick or late, and brought a level of reliability and professionalism that gave us such peace of mind. What truly sets Shanda apart, though, is her attentiveness—she was never distracted, never on her phone, and fully present and engaged every moment with our daughter.
Whether it was reading, playing, or simply spending quality time, Shanda created a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our daughter to explore and play. Her warmth and patience made our daughter feel so loved and secure. We saw real growth and joy in our daughter, and we credit so much of that to the care she received.

We found Shanda when we needed a Nanny for our 6 month old. She has done a wonderful job caring for him over the past 15 months! She is a true childcare professional. Both my husband and I work outside the home and she shows up on time every single day for work and is happy the be flexible with our schedules. It's time for our son to go to daycare but we are so lucky that we found Shanda and will continue to use her for babysitting needs!

Shanda was our nanny for 2 years. She took care of my two children, a 4 month and 2 yr old at the time until they were 2 and 4. She is on time every day and very dependable. She is great with keeping to schedules and integrating art and outside time into their day. She is loving ,caring and happy. I very much enjoyed hearing them all laugh throughout the day.

Shanda came to our rescue in July 2020.  In need of child care for our two year old daughter and newborn son while we navigated Covid, Shanda came into our home and quickly formed an amazing bond with our children and us.  Shanda has been instrumental in our children's development, helped around our house whenever able and kept our kids active throughout the day with various outings.  It is hard to express how much our children and us love Shanda.  She has become a part of our family and will continue to be.  We are all terribly sad she can no longer be with us full time.  Our daughter is ready to start school and our son is ready to socialize with his peers on a consistent basis.  Shanda has been the perfect fit for our family and I know she can be for yours.

We hired Shanda to take care of our daughter when she was 9 months old (she is now 18 months old) and Shanda has been a fantastic nanny. She is always punctual and on time, and she is thoughtful, caring and loving with both our family and our daughter.

Shanda consistently thinks of new ways to engage children, and also is focused on their development and learning. With her long history as a care taker, she understands where children should be in their development timeline and helps push those along.

We are honored to be a reference for Shanda. We are moving out of the area, otherwise we would hope to keep Shanda as our daughter's nanny.

We have four young children and she handles them all amazingly. They all love her too.  She always accomplishes all the tasks we ask of her.

I am the Children's Ministry Director at our church.  Shanda serves in the preschool department and fills that room with joy, love, and peace.  She is faithful and even willing to fill in when someone is not able to serve on their scheduled week.  While the lead teacher was away this past summer, Shanda offered to help prepare the materials for those few weeks.  She likes to give and bless.

Shanda is willing to watch the children of families in the church.  I believe being around children is one of her greatest joys in life.  Her eyes twinkle and a huge smile comes across her face when she talks about
children.

We have had the pleasure of having Shanda in our home since August of 2014. With the birth of our second child, we found ourselves in the situation of having to find a new caregiver solution for our children. As many of you know, the task of finding someone new to care for your most precious little people can be a daunting one.

But then we met Shanda. As she said to me when we met: "I believe God gave me a heart and patience and love for children. Caring for children is all I've ever wanted to do in life." Indeed, He did. Our oldest loved her immediately, and our littlest has never known life without her. She truly loves them both as she would her own children. Shanda is kind, loving, honest, hard-working and punctual. She's always willing to do whatever is needed to help out - a true blessing to any working parent.

We unfortunately have to say good-bye to Shanda when we move out-of-state in June. Whoever welcomes her into their family next will be very lucky.

Shanda is amazing with kids. She truly loves them and fosters a great relationship with them. She is great at listening to instructions left by caregivers and children gladly listen to her. I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone.

Shanda is a very caring, nurturing, loving person. She is committed, dedicated, trustworthy and has done child care for 15 years. She would provide excellent child care with her knowledge and experience.

Shanda is a truly sweet, fun, and reliable sitter!!  She loves children deeply and kids love to have fun with her!  She is also good at gently helping get kids to bed on time and follow their schedules appropriately (which is appreciated).  I recommend her highly!!
