Shana is the consummate nanny: professional, excellent at communication, dialed in to the developmental needs of our child, and a thoughtful and creative caregiver. As a first time parent and pediatrician, I am hyper vigilant about safety and making sure we are tailoring activities for my son’s developmental stage and growth. She has been excellent at all of those! He runs to see her and give her a hug when she arrives. She engages him in age appropriate activities throughout the day, makes sure he gets outdoor time if at all possible, and sings with and engages in pretend play with him. I truly could not imagine anyone better as a nanny. I was struck by experience, terrific references, and thoughtful interview when hiring her but she has surpassed my expectations. I feel 100% at peace knowing he is under her care while I work. She is diligent, punctual, and responsive to his needs. She handles toddler big feelings with patience and kindness. She is truly truly terrific!
