About Shana

I am a certified nurse assistant and have been in this field for over a decade. For the past few years my role in the hospital has been as a CNA, sitter, and hospital volunteer. While simultaneously helping families, I am fulfilling my desire to carry out the patient's plan of treatment for surgery, disease, fracture, and/or injury. Encouraging the patient in safety, maintaining their dignity and feeling of independence are vital in every task that I complete to bring the patient to self awareness. Some of the skills that I provide include trach care, ostomy care, catheter care, drainage, wound care, mobility care, prompting medication or routine reminders, making appointments if necessary, and organizational skills. Other skills are listed in my bio. I am kind, dependable, and non involvement in family matters. BLS certified.
