About Shana

I'd describe my personality as fun, engaging, and attentive I like working with kids because there is something new each day. I love seeing the wonder they have, and enjoy experiencing the world through their lens. I'm looking for a job that is beneficial for me and the family. I love clear communication and time boundaries. I prefer to have evenings off, but can consider periodic needs. I have worked with kids ever since I was 12. Ive had nanny positions, infant/toddler care jobs, volunteering with teens, preschool teacher, and now working in a TK classroom. None of this includes raising my own two boys. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook, hike, and make pottery. One thing you should know about me is I am a solo mama to two teen boys, and while I will take my job very seriously, I have to make sure my schedule is planned well. I am a kind and attentive caregiver. I have a great attention to detail. I love to play and engage with kids and love watching them learn and grow.
