About Shana

Welcome! I have been working as a childcare provider for the last six years. My primary goal with children is to make sure they are safe, have loads of fun and to treat them as little humans with their autonomy. I love to engage them in lessons about the importance of community, environmental care, and world cultures. I am comfortable preparing meals, helping with homework (reading, history, language, science, and basic math are my forte), and transportation to and from school, home, and extracurricular activities. I have utilized this site for childcare work, on and off, for 5 years and have been hired by 3 families. I will gladly send over references and recommendations at your request.
