About Shamya

Becoming a caregiver stemmed from the joy I found in previous babysitting roles, and my desire to support families by providing reliable childcare. My calm and patient personality allows me to connect with children and create a nurturing environment. I have four years of experience caring for children ages 0-11, but I am most comfortable with ages newborn-3, and can care for up to two children at a time. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and even some technology-based games. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and communicate with parents through written daily reports, verbal updates at pickup, and regular texts or calls. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have a car for transportation. I look forward to bringing my passion for childcare to your family!
