I do light housekeeping, prep meals, light laundry, bath time, activities, and medication administration and I can assist with companionship also. I have experience with Alzheimer's I have had two grandmother's who have had Alzheimer's so I'm familiar with taking care of someone with Alzheimer's and I have worked for seniors with Alzheimer's at senior facility and also I have done hospice care also. Shamicka was an amazing help to us when my nana came home from rehab. She assisted with the personal hygiene, daily exercises, changing of clothes and bedding, etc. Nana had a stroke and had no movement in her right side and I don’t know what we would have done if not for Shamicka. She even, from previous experience, had some great suggestions for efficiency of care for my nana. Big thank to Shamicka for the time she took to not only help out with my nana but teaching us ways to properly care for her.
