Shameka is great with our son! Even the very first day we met, she was very hands on with our son! I am very comfortable with her and I highly recommend her!

Shameka was very prompt , very proactive and very nurturing while caring for our baby! We had no issues trusting her with our child and will continue to utilize her in the future!

Shameka made me feel very comfortable from the moment she came into my home and started interacting with my 2 yr old. He is
also very excited to see her everytime she’s come over. She teaches as she plays, she's very down to earth, and is just a natural with kids. I’m so blessed to have found her and have her apart of our family.

We had a such wonderful experience with Shameka. She is incredibly attentive, educated, and experienced, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely cares for children. Our daughter took to her immediately, which speaks volumes about her natural warmth and ease. Her advice and knowledge on children was extensive, and we loved hearing her insight. She’s kind, trustworthy, and operates as a seamless extension of our family. We felt completely at peace knowing our little one was in her care. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Shameka is amazing! She is our current full-time nanny for our 3 year old daughter. She works long hours for us, is flexible as our needs/schedules change, and is always on time. She is professional and also so much fun! Our daughter absolutely loves Ms. Meka! The two of them go on so many fun adventures to museums, the zoo, and playgrounds. Shameka also emphasizes incorporating education into playtime and our daughter has learned the days of the week, months of the year, and so much more. As we get ready to welcome a new baby into our family this summer, I am so grateful to have Shameka in our lives. She is truly a member of our family and my personal fairy godmother.

Mrs.Meka is really the most amazing. The way she connects and is able to influence our 4-year-old son is incredible and we can't speak highly enough about her. This was our first time trying Care.com and feels like we hit the jackpot. Just wish I could hire her full-time. Highest recommendations!

Shameka cared for our 4 month old boy during the workday for a week, and we can't thank her enough. Because I work from home, I'm used to my friends and family thinking I can still do other household/childcare things while I'm not actively in meetings, but Shameka made it so that I could totally focus on my work. She worked with our little one on sleeping independently since he's been so used to contact naps during the day, and he's already getting more used to napping in his bassinet. As new parents, we also appreciated her advice and tips (which were solicited by us due to her experience). We will definitely be reaching out to her again for help in the future and highly recommend her to others as well!

Shameka is a great asset to the childcare world! She instantly connected with our son and is very hands on with learning activities. She is definitely someone we recommend hiring.

Highly recommended. Always on time and provides a great experience for our 7 month old.

Shameka arrived on time and immediately started helping. My boys loved her. She has a calming presence and is the kindest caregiver! I loved her and would definitely hire her again!!

Shameka was a great nanny. Very hands on and thorough with the care of my grandkids. She was brought aboard for the baby but she was engaged with the older children as well and all three plus me loved her being a part of our family.

Shameka was comfortable watching my 4 month old for a day while I knocked out office work in the background. I appreciated her keeping the baby on track through the day, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! Thank you, Shameka!

Shameka is amazing and she did a great job with our 5 month old daughter. She was on time, kind, patient, and communicated how things were going consistently. She was an absolute joy and I definitely recommend her.
My husband and I were very pleased with her help and support. If you get an opportunity to work with her, you will not regret it.

A few things to note for some parents out there:
-2 daughters, 4 and 1.5
-eldest daughter is diagnosed with autism, slightly verbal
-1.5yo finally sleeping in crib

From the first time our 2 daughters met Shameka, they were in love and couldn't wait to see her again. The second time they met was on our actual date night. My 4 year old was so excited, she closed the door behind me as we left. The fact that they were so comfortable around Shameka took so much off our shoulders and allowed us to enjoy our time out. When we arrived home, both of our babies were absolutely knocked out.

With no family in the state, having Shameka as a trusted, loving person to watch our kids is a real blessing. I definitely recommend her service for special occasions or even on-going care AND we will definitely call upon her again.

Very punctual! My kids embraced her right away! She did so well with them! Would definitely recommend and would hire again!

This was the first time I've used Care.com to find a sitter for my two toddler boys. We have a full time nanny who took a few days off and I thought Id give it a shot. I was very impressed by Shameka's experience and history and we met for an in-person interview. I could tell right away she had extensive experience in education and caring for children - and my boys took to her right away. Shameka had activities planned for the boys and even took them to the museum for a morning of fun. We very highly recommend Shameka and look forward to seeing her again soon!

This was my first time using this app and Shameka exceeded my expectations. Not only did she arrive early she asked questions and really seemed like she cared. Made me feel comfortable right away. Not only did she do a great job caring for my baby she also hungout with my puppies. I would definitely hire her again

This was my first time using this app and I was a little nervous. I reached out to Shameka and she very kindly got back to within the hour. We chatted and she made me feel comfortable. Long story short she was amazing. She arrived with no problem and ahead of time. Kept me updated and in the loop. Was kind and knowledgeable. Just gave her my own instructions and she went right to it. I would most definitely hire Shameka again.
