I'm Shameika. I'm 43 years old. I come from a large family. I started work with children at a young age. My mother started her own Childcare Facility and I was very involved. I graduated High School in 2001 and went on to attain my EC Credentials 1 & 2. The State of NC added me on the 4 Star License of my mother's Childcare to which I became an Operator. I started working for Easter Seals UCP in '05 with young adults- adults with disabilities. I enjoy helping others live quality lives. In 2012 to present, I started my work at Stevens Center; with children and young adults with disabilities in their homes and community. Teaching daily living skills, provide respite support, light housekeeping when teaching home skills, so much more. My First Aid/AED, Adult and Infant CPR are kept up to date as well as an annual North Carolina Intervention course. I am a Christian, patient, loving, loyal, trustworthy, and dependable. I do not drink nor smoke. I do have allergies to cats but love dogs.
