About Shamayo

I am currently a Nursing major at LaGuardia Community College with a deep passion for caring for others. I am CPR certified, a CPR instructor, and HHA certified with two years of experience working closely with patients. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for individuals living with dementia, autism, Parkinson's disease, and cancer, and each experience has taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of treating every person with dignity. My passion for giving back to the elderly comes from being raised by my grandparents, who inspired me to always honor and care for those who came before us. Their love and guidance shaped the person I am today and continue to fuel my commitment to making a difference in people's lives through nursing.
