About Shamarra

I've worked in the child care field for 20 years now, and I absolutely love it! I've been employed as a Nanny, a Camp Counselor, a Child-Care Provider and Teaching Assistant for the State of California. I have experience with kids of all ages, and I give 100% to my little people, I take great pride in my work, and pay special attention to early educational, and developmental milestones, such as learning the alphabet, numbers, potty-training, and the development of strong verbal, and social skills. For my older kids the focus is on outdoor activities, homework, great books, and independence training. Learning through play, and exploration is my teaching method of choice, which allows me to keep learning fun, and my kids engaged. My kids enjoy daily park trips, and weekly field trips. We bond over art projects, games, and the study of a new animal, insect or place each week. Upon reference check you will find that I am a responsible, punctual, and a naturally nurturing Nanny.
