Hello! My name is Shalyn. I am a born and raised Texan! I am from Austin, Texas and have been in Dallas for nearly 8 years and live in Lakewood! I believe that caring for children entails patience, use of your imagination, and countless energy! I have been a nanny and babysitter with about 11 years with experience caring for ages from 2 weeks to 14 years old, including multiples, children with autism as well as potty training. I love teaching children new things, and really getting to know them, running around being silly and quiet inside play for the appropriate ages. I am a very goofy silly person but stern when I need to be. I enjoy dancing, singing, reading, the outdoors and also swimming, I am very passionate about having fun while still learning in ways that help children grow and absorb the world around them. I love animals of all kinds yet I am allergic to cats.

Shalyn has worked as a Nanny for our two boys (3 & 1) for the past year. Over this period of time, Shayln has demonstrated tremendous responsibility in taking care of our children. She is kind, trustworthy, dependable and has an intuitive understanding of children and their needs. She has been a blessing for our household! It was evident early on that this isn't just a job for Shalyn but a passion that is motivating and fulfilling for her. I have been continuously impressed with her dedication to working with and teaching our children. She has excellent communication skills and is always prepared with creative ideas for activities to keep the children engaged, learning and most importantly, safe.
