About Shalom

I'd describe my personality as empathetic and resilient. As a nursing student, with prior experience in caring for seniors, I like caring for seniors because I get a sense of fufilment in enhancing the quality of life for this population who have contributed so much to the society while also enhacing my gerontologic nursing skills. I'm looking for a job that provides opportunity for growth and an avalanche of experices to learn from. I started caring for seniors when a friend of mine needed to take a two week vacation abroad and needed me to care for her 83-year-old dad who had alzeimer and other comorbidities. In my spare time, I like to hike or bike to the park. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and as such, families could always count on me. My skills include an effective communication skills, a great understanding of health problems associated with aging and how to help client manage those problems in order to live an improved quality of life.
