About Shalize

My name is Sha'Lize, and I'm passionate about working with children. I currently work with Freedom School Partners, a reading and enrichment program that inspires scholars to love learning, believe in themselves, and create extraordinary futures. In my role, I help deliver a culturally diverse curriculum, support academic and social-emotional growth, and create joyful, engaging experiences for students. I am First Aid and CPR trained. I have hands-on experience working with children of various ages, building trusting relationships, and encouraging positive behavior in a safe, caring environment. My work emphasizes patience, empathy, and creativity qualities I bring to every interaction. Whether it's reading stories, playing games, helping with homework, or simply being a reliable and kind presence, I'm committed to making each child feel valued and supported.
