About Shakyla

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for. For the past two years, I've enjoyed supporting families by providing reliable childcare for children aged newborn to 11. My coursework in Early Child Development and experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has prepared me well. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing educational games, board games, and outdoor sports with children. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, and I always follow a parent's preferred communication method. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I look forward to bringing my passion for nurturing children into your home.
