About Shakira

Hi, my name is Shakira. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including walking, feeding, cleaning up after them, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I also have a dog of my own who is 11 years old, and over the years I've cared for her through pregnancies, medication schedules, recovery periods, and even hospitalization. That experience has made me very attentive, patient, and comfortable administering medications and monitoring a dog's health closely. I understand how important it is to follow routines carefully, especially for senior or medically sensitive dogs. I'm calm, responsible, and genuinely love animals. I am currently in college (on a temporary break) and work mornings on the UES from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. , but I'm available at other times and can accommodate overnight care when needed.
