About Shakinda

Hello! My name is Shakinda, I am a certified nurse aide, home health and medication aide. I can assist with physical, occupational, and speech therapies, professional medical care, basic housekeeping and cooking. I assist with transfers and mobility. Experience and educational training working with Alzheimer's and different kinds of dementia, Parkinson's disease and Lewy-body. Experience with quadriplegic and stroke/heart issues. Shopping, meal planning, and organizing. Meal prep with or w/o any medical restriction for any specific diet regimen including diabetics, purées or soft foods. Last but not least, I have experience with live-in care, assisted living and skilled nursing. I document daily care and tasks for record keeping and communicating with family and care team. Follow strict confidentiality (HIPPA). Pay depends on services. Few hours ex. shower, flat $50-$75. 5+hours $19-23 per hour. I accept insurance payments as I am licensed national provider.
