About Shakera

My name is, Shakera! I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 10 years. I have been serving children and families at KinderCare since 2020 as a Lead Teacher. Before my journey at KinderCare, I started my career at the Youth Program! I was heavily involved in their programs, worked as an aide, and worked my way up to being a substitute Director. My passion for children's growth and development motivated me to earn my 90hr certifications to teach infants, toddlers, and school-aged childen. I am also First aid, CPR, and AED certified! I am a Frederick native , I have a 2-year-old and 7-month-old kitty that I adore! I love to take road trips with my family, whether it's to the beach or a cozy cabin. I am fun, energetic, and organized. My goal is to find a full time position long term , It would be a privilege to connect with you and your family!
