Hi I'm Shakeema! I used care. com many years ago and decided to get back on the app. I'd describe my personality as fun! I treat others how I want to be treated. Im also very calm. I don't panic under stressful situations. I have 4 years caregiving for seniors (some with dementia/Alzheimer's. Some survivors of strokes and even a patient with Parkinson's disease). I have done everything from meal prep to feeding, giving meds, bath time to diaper changing, assisting with daily exercises/rehabilitation to companionship. I have also done doctor visits and store runs and light housecleaning. I have done my background check with care. com and I do require one from the family (primarily who is hiring me) if we were to move forward as well.
