About Shaila

Hi! My name is Shaila, and I'm currently a college student. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and have always enjoyed working with children. I have two younger brothers, so growing up, I gained experience being around younger kids, helping them, and understanding their needs. During high school, I took child development courses, where I learned about children's growth, behavior, and development. I also participated in a mini preschool program, where I had hands-on experience working with young children. Additionally, I volunteered at a daycare, which helped me become more comfortable caring for children of different ages. I'm responsible, patient, caring, and enjoy keeping children entertained through games, crafts, reading, and other fun activities. I understand that every child is different, and I always try to create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for them. I would love the opportunity to help your family and provide reliable, caring childcare!
