About Shahad

Hi! I'm Shahad. I've been babysitting and nannying for several years and have experience with kids of all ages, including newborns as young as 1-week-old. I was a nanny for one family for about 3 years before they moved out of state, and I still babysit for a couple families I've been with for over 5 years, mostly for date nights. I'm comfortable with newborn care, diapers, bottles, feeding, bedtime, and helping with light housekeeping. I also have a reliable car. I'm a calm and creative person and love doing crafts, painting, baking, playing games, and spending time with kids. I play the cello for fun and have a bachelor's degree in Film and Television Directing from Columbia College Chicago. I also work at a gym and love animals, so pets are no problem! I was previously CPR certified and plan to get recertified through my job within the next few months.
