About Shaghayegh

I have worked with children over the past 10 years, from babysitting neighborhood kids to volunteering at local non-profits and completing two years of AmeriCorps focused on children's education and empowerment. I have had the opportunity to be mentored and supervised by individuals who hold degrees in child development, education, and counseling. I am a massive nerd about children's psychology and how to create safe, empowering, and fun spaces for children to grow and play in. I strongly believe in the power of positive enforcement. I enjoy creating activities that bring out the little artist, scientist, mathematician, poet, cook, and adventurer in children. It is incredibly precious to me to see children engaged, curious, and inspired. My intention behind every interaction is to help them develop into kind, curious, confident, courageous, and adventurous individuals.
