About Shae

Hello! My name is Shae - I just moved to New York to start my Master's in Nutritional Sciences at Columbia University. I grew up with a twin sister and little brother (who is my best friend), and I've been around kids a majority of my life. I babysat my little brother's friends and neighbors starting from a young age and this is when I found a love for caring for children. When I moved to Washington I was a ballet teacher for 3 years to kids aged 1. 5-8, which is one of my favorite things I've ever done. Watching them grow as people and as dancers was very impactful and I loved every second of it. I'm very outgoing and easygoing but I take safety very seriously and you can definitely trust me to set good examples for your kiddos! And a plus - as a nutrition nerd I love to sneak in healthy and fun food ideas into snack time. I'm looking for part time work and have put my availabilty around my school schedule and am open to occasional weekend work for date nights and such! Chat soon!
