About Shaelyn

Hello, my name is Shaelyn. I have 2 boys of my own ages 4 and 5, I also have a 2-month-old baby girl. I was a stay at home mom for four years and started working again in 2023. I currently work at CWI and help care for and teach people with disabilities. I am currently on maternity leave until late July but would love to stay home with my kids again! I have my foster care license in VA which is where I used to live and fostered children with special needs. I love finding crafts/projects and fun activities to do. I'd describe my personality as caring, energetic and patient! I like working with kids because it is challenging yet so rewarding. I care about making an impact on their lives and helping them grow and learn about new things. In my spare time, I love my job but outside of that I spend as much time with my children as I can, I like to clean, cook and bake. I enjoy going to hockey games and spending time with my friends and family.
