I am a student at the University of Kentucky studying biology and English. I am considering switching career paths to elementary education, so I am taking a gap semester to focus on child care to see if it is something I want to continue for the rest of my life. I have always loved kids and have been babysitting for my family since my first nephew was born in '09. I've mostly focused on ages 0-5, but my oldest nephew is now 13 and I've "hung out" with him a few times (he hates when I call it babysitting). I am pretty much fluent in Spanish due to a study abroad I did, so if that is something the kids are learning or if they are bilingual that would not be a problem.
