Making a positive difference in people's lives is why I became a nurse and caregiver. I've been a Registered Nurse for over 2 decades with over 10 years of experience providing home health care. My training is in peritoneal dialysis, post-acute care for discharged medical- surgical adults and children, as well as a specialization in pediatric development, physical and neurological assessments, and pain and medication management. My approach is rooted in compassion and empathy, and I strive to understand each person's preferences and history. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle challenges with patience. I communicate updates using the family's preferred method.
