I have many years of experience as a caregiver working on private duties with 2 families in Maryland. I was responsible of taking care of a patient who lived alone and who had been diagnosed with diabetes and other health issues that slowed him down . I followed the care plan provided by their doctor and family. I report everything unusual to the doctor and family member. which is attention to detail. I was helping with bathing , making food, help with feeding, and I accompanied my client to go to doctor appointments, I run the errands, I remind with medication and much more. I also believe on having Interpersonal skills which is forming relationships with my patients because I know it is very important for me to succeed in the care I provide with my clients. I definitely use interpersonal skills to learn about my patient, build trust with them and provide them with empathy and love. I see them as my family members and always communicate with them and their families.
