I am a Filipino, 46 years of age, and I arrived here in CA 7 years ago. Regarding my degree, I did finish my four years degree of BS in hotel and restaurant management and I also took a special course in care-giving in the Philippines. I had my training in one of the government hospitals and elder home facilities there. I took care of my mom and grandma when they were sick. It started with family then, now I want to do it outside of the home. Although I mainly did work with my family, I do have experience with others as well-during my OJT and I am presently working as a caregiver for more than 5 years now. I really enjoy being able to help others out, especially since they do need the help and assistance that they can no longer provide for themselves. I love to care for the elderly and respect them as much as I loved and respect my mom and my grandma. I am a kind person that always have a big heart for them. I am hardworking, friendly and caring person. I do take care of them as family, not just as a client.
