About Serene

Hi, I'm Serene! I'm currently in school for my Bachelor's in Elementary Education at National Louis University. I hope to one day be an elementary school teacher. I have several years of childcare experience, including tutoring, teaching, and babysitting. I have worked in Chicago Public Schools, Special Education programs, and multiple Reggio-Emilia learning centers, so I am very comfortable with a wide range of ages and abilities. I am also a big sister to four siblings, so I feel a natural affinity for connecting with and caring for children. You can rest assured that your children will have a fun and safe time while in my care. I have my own reliable vehicle, so I am happy to provide transportation for your kiddo. I can also help with light housekeeping. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have experience as a lifeguard and swim coach, as well. I am so excited to meet your family!
