I love doing crafts with children (or sensory activities depending on the age), teaching them about mindfulness and letting them play and explore In my experience fostering these skills offer high levels of personal thriving for children. I also love getting children outside as much as possible (as much as the family desires) I can do light housework, and cook healthy meals for you and or your children. I hired Serena for a temporary childcare position with my family November 13, 2023 – January 15, 2024 while our current provider was on maternity leave. Our experience with Serena and her three children has been wonderful, and it is truly bittersweet that our time with them is ending. From the initial phone conversation, Serena was warm and understanding, and her approach to childcare is highly respectable. She is thoughtful in everything she does – in the way she treats children with respect, her grace and patience in what could otherwise be considered a high-stress, overstimulating environment, to the age-appropriate activities she brings for the kids to do. She cares for our children as if they were her own, I trust her wholeheartedly. Having her children join her each day has been a joyful bonus. Serena and her family have a rhythm that helps with the flow of the day, and my kids have loved the “play dates” and grown very fond of them all. I would highly recommend Serena to any family looking for childcare!
