About Serena

Hi, my name is Serena! I am a nature & science educator, as well as a landscaper & gardener who loves working with kids. I am looking for part time child care work as I have a small landscaping business. I have lots of experience with kids of all ages, from teaching science to 1st & 2nd graders, to running nature workshops for kids ages 2-12, to three years of nanny experience, and being the loving aunt of two nieces and nephews ages 1-6! Working with kids brings me endless joy and fulfillment. I love supporting kid's imagination, creativity, and playful spirits. I'll always come with fun ideas for crafts & activities. If I can brighten their day, it brightens mine! In my free time, I love to cook, to bake, and spend lots of time outside, whether I'm nerding out over plants, or roller skating through a park! As a nanny & babysitter, I bring my warm, kind, & nurturing personality, my creativity, my strong emotional antenna, my wide range of skills, and my joy for care taking.
