About Serena

Hello! My name is Serena, and I am a graduate student studying social work at SSU. I work part-time as a para-professional and substitute teacher with the SCCPSS. Fostering children's growth and development is a true passion of mine. I have a background in early child development coursework and I take a patient and calm approach to nurturing children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I am creative and imaginative, often engaging children with educational games, puzzles, and board games that make learning fun. I am happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and a clean driving record. I prioritize your preferences for communication and remain very comfortable enforcing your established household rules. I am also happy to include your pets in our daily activities.
