About Sequoiya

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, Science, History, and Study Skills, I prioritize building a patient, engaging environment tailored to each child's needs. I assess individual learning styles by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to ensure my methods resonate with you. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps to build momentum and foster critical thinking. I believe that consistent updates create a collaborative partnership between tutor, student, and parent. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing a student's confidence flourish as they master new skills. Whether we meet online or in person, I look forward to helping your child develop the tools they need for long-term success. I am genuinely excited to start this learning journey with you.
