I prefer working with the elderly because, for me its more personal. Previous persons I've aided has told me that I'm made for this. It feels like a responsibility of mine to make sure that as one gets in that stage of life, they still feel independent yet comfortable with someone there as a companion to make their lives a bit easier. I've graduated college 2 years ago in Health Management, and always did administrative work, but realized that I wasn't living my true purpose which is to make a direct impact on one's life. That's when I decided to pursue nursing, a career that is completely to me is based on compassion, care, and most importantly comfort.
